Make Room for the New Stuff.....

The end of the year is quickly approaching... Time to throw out some old stuff. Whether you're getting rid of old cloths, furniture, habits or even an old relationship, you've got to create some space.

Recognizing that there are things that should be removed is an indication that you are ready for a change.   Sorting, and evaluating the necessity of the item is essential.  Material things can accumulate and cause clutter.  If you are saying, "Oh. I remember this."  And you haven't seen or used it in three months.  Chances are,  you don't need it.  As for relationships and habits, if it is not an addition to your life it's definitely a subtraction.  Why hold onto something that isn't adding to the enhancement of your life?

To acquire more positive or great things in life we must learn to discard the things that create clutter and/or chaos.  When items are discarded..... It makes room for ideas, perspective, vision and clarity.

Make room for something new.....

Where have I been?..... boy let me tell you

Bet you're wondering where I've been. I'm truly on a journey.  I'm growing and my goal is to have my thoughts become my words and my words to become my action.  They must all be in sync for proper balance and piece of mind.  I'm on a mental, physical and spiritual journey.  It's probably the most challenging part of my life.

The impetus has been the realization of the deterioration of the health and well being friends and associates around me.

Making the conscious choice to change is liberating.  The mere thought that this goal will transcend to every part of my life lets me know how abundant life can be.

I'll be here periodically giving updates on how things are coming along.  Follow me here... More to come.

Peace and power!!

I'm just saying....

How many of us have watched the "celebrations" of death.  How easily can we all be deceived?  How much do we really know about the incidents that led up to 9/11? How much do we know about Bin Laden? How much do we really know about the Bush Administration, ties to Bin Laden, if the picture that we've seen for the last ten years is "really" him?  What do we really know? Not much at all.....

The truth is.... we only know what we've been told.  The media is the government (govern your mentality). There is so much propaganda...... it's unbeLIEvable.  95% bullshit and 5% truth.  We have got to use our mental energy for more than getting caught-up in U.S. bullshit.  We have more compassion than those that sit and make decisions to enforce their beliefs on others by befriending and then murdering those that we think are weak.  What kind of nation broadcasts and supports the killing of one man...... then covers all the murders that they do for profit and power?......

I'M JUST SAYING......

Who's Complaining?

Who's complaining? Many of us do it. A lot!!! LOL.. Often without notice.
I realized how much I actually complained this week.  So I said to myself, "Self. Huh?  How long are you going to complain about different aspects of your life without doing anything to change it?"

When you begin to feel that it's time to make a change/move. MOVE! It's the only thing that will give you some peace in your turmoil.  Complaining only makes the situation worse.   Many times we decide to tell others around us. We all know that having an audience, sometimes, intensifies the complaint.   The only one that makes a difference in your life is YOU.

Whether you're frustrated with your job, health/weight, family, finance, schedule, etc. YOU have the power to change it.  If you begin to take control and make strides to change your situation, you begin to see your level of frustration decrease.  There is nothing more fulfilling than making a conscious effort to alter your situation.  If we think long enough, we often solve our own issues.  Think of a few solutions before resorting to complaining.

After all, what are you accomplishing?  It's all on YOU, boo.

Know Yourself: Cultivate your spirit

There are so many people that are still in search for their place in the world. Some are on a conscious quest and others are searching and not really realizing that they are actually seeking some sort of significance in this chaotic place.  We need to know ourselves for direction in life and for the relationships (work, friendships, intimate) that we all desire.

Society has placed so much emphasis on appearance that we rarely take time for our inner self.  Our spirituality is so important.  The things that we feel strongly about, your morals, your ideals, private thoughts, things that we hear and see (propaganda) all begin to form the essence of who you are.  If YOU are not consciously aware of the negative things that surround you, you will be conformed into those things without choice.

Society has dictated that we focus on appearance. We have become slaves to jobs, fashion, material goods, services and entertainment.  Anything that is needed to cultivate the spirit is left up to you.  You MUST seek this on your own. This is the one thing that is NOT commercialized.  We are told what to eat, drink, drive, buy, how to look and then told what drugs to take when all these things have made us sick or "crazy".  We are literally the walking dead.  Getting in touch with your spirit brings new life. It changes your attitude, reduces stress and many times encourages others to ask, "What have you been doing?"

How many of us can answer this question? WHO AM I?

CHALLENGE:  Try answering this question without including any possessions in the answer (degree, type of job, auto, home, etc.)

Our spirits are in need of rejuvenation. Getting to the essence of your true being is fulfilling.  It's what we need to allow us to function on a higher level.

Get to know yourself. Your spirit deserves it!
